So, I'm off to France April 6th - April 16th, and will be without internet access unless I can sneak into a café and steal the Frenchies' WiFi. ^_^'
So. Any problems you're having on the site/characters you're creating and want checked over, please let me know before the 6th, because otherwise I'll be on a ferry (or already across the channel) and you'll have a nice long 10 days to wait before I'm back and able to do anything about it. c:

It's the market people you have to be careful of, not gypsies! They follow you everywhere, talk so fast you can't understand a word they're saying, and thrust random stuff into your hands all "you buy, oui?" *shudders* But at least it's 10 days of good, fancy food! I shall try, mon ami!

Je méprise les téléphones mobiles. :c Et il ne sont a pas beaucoup de cybercafés à proximité où je va rester, donc...je ne sais pas! ** I despise mobiles. And there aren't a lot of Internet cafés around where I'll be staying, so...I don't know!

There's lots of food in France, but not much shrimp from my experience. o.O Lots of lobster and crab though, and mussels!
I'll see if I can take and upload some pictures whilst I'm away, if there's anything interesting. Normally we just visit Mont Saint-Michel or sit by a lake and fish all day. It's fun the first few times, but after a while it gets tedious xD
They sell flintlock pistols, muskets and carbines really cheap over there. As well as cheap ducks and chickens. If I could get away with it at customs, I would totally be smuggling them back to England. P:

have fun in France Chord! lol I like how you talk about how you normally visit France. in the U.S.(or to my friends and I at least) France is like a huuuuuge trip since we'd have to fly over the Atlantic.
anyways enjoy it, eat fancy food, and have fun x3

North America (Canada more than the USA) is a totally different world to me. I'm just glad I have the internet and TV to guess what the place looks like, else my impression of America would be white beaches, rollercoasters and waterparks everywhere.
Or maybe it is like that. What do I know?
But yeah, lucky in the sense for visiting. Not lucky in the sense of politics. Buuuut I shan't go into that. ^_^'
Anyway, just as another heads up, my exams start in early June. So apologies in advance if I'm a little inactive/slow and/or stressy around that time. And unless you want to make me fly into a panic, don't mention maths. c: It is a well known fact that Chord cannot add.

XD It's not much like that where I live... Des Moines is so quiet... I don't think there's been a major crime there for like two decades...

Oh we have theft, drunkeness, noise issues, assault etc. But then I have two homes so...it's like that in the city, anyway. In the countryside it's quiet, but that could be because everyone's so close knit in the village that that sort of stuff isn't heard of.
But yep! Nowhere is safe! P: Except maybe Cornwall. No one bothers with Cornwall.
