Hi everyone!
Now that I've created two great characters, I would like to find some threads/plots for them.
The first is Joseph. He's the young and reckless son of a wealthy southern planter, but he's not on good terms with his family. He also likes socializing, drinking, gambling, and women.
The second is Remy Marc de Larue D'Agenois. He usually drops the D'Agenois and goes by Remy de Larue or just simply Remy. He is a 32 year old veteran of the Seven Year's War. His father and brother are French aristocrats which is something he usually avoids talking about. He has a tendency to act without thinking about the consequences which actually led to him coming to America to get involved in the struggle against England. His English is terrible but it's not from lack of trying.
These guys need friends, enemies, etc. I'm open to just about anything for them.
Anyone interested? ;D

I have Matthew to offer up for a thread with either of your two lads! c:
He's a 25 year-old British Officer, but a pretty damn bad one who quite frankly doesn't give a rat's arse about the war. Although he can be automatically hostile and judgemental towards anyone who speaks against Crown and Country, he's happy with pretty much any company he can get providing there's alcohol, gambling and women involved somewhere along the line. He'd probably get on best with Joseph buuuut I'm pretty much up for anything, be it friends, enemies, drama, or whatever else. P:

We can start a thread whenever. I have no idea where. Joseph is all over the place though he's currently in Pennsylvania.

Matt's mainly in New Jersey and Pennsylvania at the moment. I can start us a thread set in Phili if you like, perhaps in an inn or gambling den or something of the sort?

Remy would probably like both of them. Maybe a thread with Jack for now? Since Remy is a little militarily inclined.

well like you said in my plot thread Joseph and Dominik could possibly get along. I could see Dominik following him around and Joseph talking him into gambling and getting into drinking and stuff. almost like a bad role model xD Dominik is sort of thrill seeking, much more so then Andreas.

Dominik is open to go farther north if he has to, though I don't think he'll be going any farther north then Pennsylvania.
hmmm... they could possibly notice each other if one of them were to cause some sort of a disturbance? I guess Joseph could have lost a bet and gotten forced out of the building or something, that would make Dominik wonder what he had done. although this is speculative if you have a better idea I'm open for it.

Hmm...I could easily see Joseph losing a bet and causing a big scene by calling someone out for "cheating." Or just simply drinking a bit too much and getting into an argument. Or both! And Joseph is willing to travel. However he does have no intention of returning home to South Carolina at least for the time being. |

As far as the British side goes, I've got Corporal Gibbons (23rd Foot) and Captain Leighton (54th Foot). Gibbons is a decent sort, if a bit gruff and pretty fervently anti-colonist. He's also a big fellow, being a grenadier. Last time he was seen was the Foraging thread, where he was wounded, along with most of his foraging party. I haven't used Captain Leighton in a while, but he's pretty much your typical gentleman-officer. Well-mannered and educated and all the rest. He speaks French as well, so if he were to cross paths with Remy, conversation would be possible. For the most part, my British fellows are in New York/New Jersey.
For Continentals, I've got Ben Strout (2nd Massachusetts), Adam Starling (1st New Hampshire), and Joe Flowers (2nd Light Dragoons). Strout is a veteran of Breed's Hill and the campaigns following it, and is essentially dedicated to the cause. He tends to be a bit pessimistic though. Starling is a grumpy young woodsman from Vermont, who saw his first action at Ticonderoga. Since then he's served with a couple different regiments. His interests are pretty much limited to fighting, hunting, and drinking. Flowers is a cavalryman from Connecticut. Not much really bothers him. He's even-tempered and generally hard to rile up.
Strout was last seen in New York, in the Foraging thread and then after. Starling is presently in Massachusetts, and Flowers is briefly stopped in Connecticut on his way south to New Jersey.

alright, Dominik would definately be curious if something like that happened. and he gets sent to different cities by his employer so it shouldn't be to much of a problem for him. He lives in Virginia, but moves around alot.

Katie: Any ideas on where we could get a thread going with Remy and Jack? Remy does want to help out the Patriots so he does need to meet some soldiers.
Dallas: Would you like to start a thread for Dominik and Joseph or shall I?
Bog: Remy is more on the side of the Patiots...but I would love a thread with Leighton! I can't pass up an opportunity to write in French!
