[HOME] | [RULES] | [PLOT] | [CANONS] | [APPLICATION] | [CLAIMS]The Opera ghost really existed. He was not, as was long believed, a creature of the imagination of the artists, the superstition of the managers, or a product of the absurd and impressionable brains of the young ladies of the ballet, their mothers, the box-keepers, the cloak-room attendants or the concierge. Yes, he existed in flesh and blood, although he assumed the complete appearance of a real phantom; that is to say, of a spectral shade. ------ Join us as we retell the tale of the ghost! We are loosely based on Leroux’s original book, but take many more elements from the Yeston Kopit stage musical. If you’ve ever wanted to explore the opera house as a ballet rat, a chorus girl, a leading lady, or even a manager or a patron, we’ve got the perfect site for you. We do observe many of the era’s traditions but we are not strictly ‘canon’ to the time-period. Come join us in re-discovering what made The Phantom of the Opera such a wonderful tale!
