Just joined up here, with Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Hamilton, an aide-de-camp of the Continental Army. He's an actual historical figure, instead of my own creation. Hamilton's an ingenious, passionate, romantic young man out to get himself some glory and fight for truth and justice.
As an aide-de-camp, he sends a lot of time writing letters, but he also acts as a mouth piece and assistant to his general. So, you might find him issuing orders, meeting with spies, organizing prisoner exchanges, advising, or inspecting military supplies. On the rare occasions he is not working, you might find him charming his way through a dinner party and flirting with the pretty ladies.
Mostly, though, he writes letters. So many letters.
If you're interested in plottin' with him, that would be great!

I have a young lady to offer up! She has been cozying up to some British soldiers lately but I'm sure she wouldn't be averse to the attentions o an American soldier, especially a passionate and romantic one ;] She loves to flirt too. I am having trouble thinking of how they might meet though, except that she goes to town a lot and her father is a merchant.

Hrm, let me see... Curses, brain, work for me! I suppose Hamilton could meet her while out on business: meeting a spy, trying to get supplies out of merchants... Or they could meet somehow at a social event.

Dance, perhaps? A dinner?

Either would work. Maybe we could make a sitewide thing out of it if more people are interested. I think a dance is more fun.

Preferably... I think the army's more likely to move than Peggy, unless her family decides to move (which is a possibility as her dad is a merchant) to Massachusetts, that way we might involve more characters as a lot seem to be living there.

Man, I'm a bad history person. I need to know my proper army locations. Will make sure to check on that.
I have no preference between Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. But, if more characters live in Boston...*shrugs*

Okay! Well, maybe we can ask an admin about making it a site-wide event or something?

Ack, excuse my disappearing act there. Fail on my part. And sure. Sounds good. I can ask. Or you can ask? Whoever grabs 'em first!
