'Ello! Twas wondering: are we allowed to apply with actual historical figures? Sorry if you already addressed this in the rules somewhere and I just missed it.

Hey c: You're more than welcome to apply for historical figures and the like. We do have a character auditions thing, somewhere, but it never really served any purpose and I should probably redo it.  But yeah, feel free to apply to create a historical figure as a character! EDIT: Added some stuff to the auditions to make it clearer. |

Yay! So, I post an audition form first? Do make a new thread for that, or reply to the Auditions thread itself?
Also, I take it I can bend history a bit for the sake of RP? For instance, if a historical personage didn't join the military until, say, 1778, but I still wanted to play them as a soldier, would that be acceptable? (Just an example)

Nah don't worry about creating a new thread, you can go ahead and reply to the auditions one. ^^ And sure, feel free to twist history a little, providing it's not something drastic and completely unrealistic/out of the blue.
