I have here Margaret "Peggy" Taylor. She is based on the fictional character Lydia from Pride and Prejudice and the real person Peggy Shippen, who became the wife of Benedict Arnold. She is snobby, selfish, and manipulative, so you know that'll make for good plotting!
She will have a few close friends she confides in, who are probably like herself, and a lot of enemies, just other girls who are competing for the attention of men, and of course there will be men she flirts with, but it sadly won't pan out for most of them, because she's looking for 'the real thing' even though she flirts like nobody's business.
If you want a thread with her, I'll love you forever.

I'm up for a thread! I have Matthew (my only character, for the moment) who's a useless Lieutenant in the 54th Regulars, if you're interested in working up something between them?

That would be awesome! She would be completely enamored with him because of his red coat. And the fact that he's useless is even better, because he has nothing else to do other than flirt with her XD

Linkety link to the thread. Sorry for the very uncreative start and title, but hopefully it's ok >_<

*late* I've two redcoats and one Continental on offer. The redcoats are a captain with the 54th and a corporal with the 23rd, respectively, and the Continental is a private with the 1st New Hampshire.
The captain, David, is a pretty decent sort. A nobleman's son and a light infantry officer, he's basically a fighting gentleman. The corporal, Gibbons, can be a bit ill-mannered but on the whole he's a steady fellow. He has no love for the rebels though. The Continental, Starling, is very rough around the edges and likes nothing better than to drink and fight. He is a soldier more or less in name only.

They all sound fun to plot with. I think she would prefer the captain, but if you would like to throw the others in a thread with her as well that could probably produce interesting dialogue xD

David it is for a starter, then. Maybe she can run across Starling if she has a habit of visiting rebel camps. ^_^
