Faeries exist. Humans don't know for how long. Most don't even
know they exist - but some do. The children stolen and replaced
by changelings know. The drug dealers who sell faery magic for
money know. The people cursed by them know. The people who
are led off the edges of skyscrapers know. The family members
who hear the wailing outside their window when their son is killed
in a gang fight know. Those indebted to them, who have made deals
with them know. The people drowned in the Hudson river by mermaids
know.
This is New York, the city where the naughty faeries are exiled from
mother nature to the world of iron, their only weakness. In this city,
anyone can experience the world of faeries - if they're unlucky enough.
